I'm based in Aracaju and have taught English for over fourteen years, to students of every age and level. Since 2015 I've examined renowned international speaking exams, and I've trained teachers in Brazil and Uruguay with institutions like Cultura Inglesa, International House, IPA, and IFES. I taught in Brazil's federal English without Borders program at the Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS), where I'm currently studying a master's degree in Modern Languages. I also worked with the British Council Buenos Aires within Plan Ceibal.
I specialize in international exam preparation, business English, and conversation, with a practical, communication-first approach. Knowing the speaking exam from the examiner's chair changes how you prepare for it: we train what the rubric actually rewards, and I mark every writing task by hand.
Two semesters a year.
Courses run March to June and July to November: two live classes a week on weekday evenings, or one three-hour class on Saturday mornings. You can pay by the semester or by the month.
Classes are scheduled in your timezone, with evening and Saturday-morning slots across Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil.

Fifteen to thirty minutes online with the studio. We assess your level out loud against the CEFR scale (A1 to C2), talk about what you're learning English for, and match you with the right teacher. If you want Reuben specifically, tell us in the booking and we'll do our best, scheduling permitting.
